Find your
way forward.
ClearPath includes the Prevention Research Institute's myPrime® course and a virtual discussion of what you learned. Whether you're sidestepping potential substance-use roadblocks or have already faced them head-on, this is your compass to low-risk decisions and a resilient path forward.
What would you like to learn?
Would you like to learn it all? You can.
myPrime® is a self-paced, accessible, and highly motivational course designed to help you explore your values and understand how substances may be impacting your personal and professional growth. ClearPath delivers that course alongside a virtual follow-up — so you're not just completing lessons, you're charting a path.
The program is for any age group, as prevention, early intervention, or a jump start to treatment. Whether you want to keep your life as problem-free as possible, or you're already navigating concerns, myPrime® meets you where you are.
The self-led online course lets you complete modules on your schedule. You'll identify your core values, understand the potential consequences of high-risk substance use, and develop a plan to reduce risk — all non-judgmentally, with information that provokes new thinking rather than hands down verdicts.
After the course, your ClearPath post-course conversation gives you space to discuss what you learned, ask questions, and solidify your plan with a supportive provider.
ClearPath is designed for personal growth — it is not intended for DUI license reinstatement in most states. If you need a certificate for legal requirements, contact the issuing authority first to find an approved PRIME For Life® provider in your area.
Four modules. One journey.
Three self-paced learning modules build on each other, then a fourth module — your post-course conversation — turns what you learned into a personal plan.

Common questions.
Who is myPrime® for?
It's designed for a broad audience — anyone who wants to keep their life as problem-free as possible, as well as people already experiencing concerns related to their alcohol or drug use. It's not specifically an addiction-recovery program, and it's not counseling.
Will this count for a DUI or court requirement?
In most states, myPrime® does not meet DUI license-reinstatement requirements. Certain courts or legal entities may allow it for specific circumstances (often non-residence cases, DOT SAP requirements, or employer programs). Check with whoever is requiring the program before enrolling.
How long does the course take?
The full course is approximately 16 hours across three units, but the time you spend depends on your pace and how deeply you choose to engage with each section. Some people complete it in a few weeks, others over several months.
What happens after I complete the units?
You'll schedule a follow-up conversation with a myPrime® consultant via video chat. It's not counseling and no notes are kept — it's a chance to review what you learned, ask questions, and clarify your plan.
How does the $199 payment work?
One-time payment at registration. You'll receive course access information by email within one business day of your payment. The price includes lifetime access to all three units and the follow-up session.
What if I need to pause?
The course is self-paced by design. Pause for a day, a week, a season — your progress is saved, and you can return whenever you're ready.
